Ponder the fate of the lost colony as you kayak through the marshy canals of Roanoke Island. The tour leaves from the Historic Manteo Waterfront and has excellent photo opportunities of the Elizabeth II (a replica of a 16th century sailing ship) and downtown Manteo. Once we reach more open water, you get a great view, across the sound, of Jockey's Ridge the largest sand dune on the east coast.

Pea Island National Wildlife Refuge Kayak Tour

Kayak along the peaceful salt marshes of the Cape Hatteras National Seashore. Pea Island is known as a birders paradise home to over 265 different bird species that make this refuge on the Outer Banks their home. Search for ospreys, herons, egrets, ibis, terns, pelicans, rails, skimmers, wrens, and warbles just to name a few. Follow your kayak guide in and out of several shallow coves and canals, where the birds feed and seek refuge. With the mainland just out sight over the horizon, this is one of the few places on the east coast to kayak and watch the sun set right over the water.

Hatteras Island Kayak Tour

Paddle from Hatteras Landing near the ferry docks into the nearby creeks and waters of Pamlico Sound. As you glide through the grasses of the marshes between islands, learn about Hatteras history, culture and ecology while keeping your eyes out for egrets, terns, pelicans, skimmers, and other water birds. Kayak Fishing Tour

Go fishing from a kayak with one of our guides. Sit on top kayaks are rigged with anchors and rod holders. All tackle and bait are included. Fish you might catch include flounder, croaker, trout, and puppy drum.You will need a NC saltwater fishing license (must purchase before you arrive).
